We represent judges during the investigatory stage of the proceedings, when he or she is asked to respond to complaints or requests for information.  Due to our experience, we have a high success rate of resolving matters at the investigatory stage.  We also provide aggressive representation in the event a formal complaint is filed.

Character and Fitness

We assist bar applicants in submitting information and responding to inquiries from the State Bar of Michigan during the admission process.  We also provide representation in the event hearings are scheduled regarding the applicant’s fitness to be admitted to the State Bar.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

We have experience representing individuals after charges have been filed, but just as importantly, we represent individuals whose conduct is being investigated by state or federal law enforcement officials. The investigatory stage is often one of the most critical phases of an aggressive defense.  Unfortunately, many individuals do not retain an attorney to represent their interests during a criminal investigation, as they believe that if they are honest and forthright with the police they will not be charged with a crime.  Oftentimes, an individual who believes he/she is helping their plight by speaking freely with the police, compromises their legal position.
